Getting Married?
Your wedding day will be magical, leaving you and your guests with sweet memories. Allow Ballroom & Beyond to choreograph a fun and easy routine to your special song. We will also introduce you to all of the popular dances so you can dance the night away to all of the music mixed by your DJ or band.
Dancing at Your Wedding
Prepare for your first dance with the same care you give to your invitations, gowns, catering, flowers and music.
The couple's first dance as man and wife is a very anticipated and often nerve-wracking tradition. Today, it is almost always recorded on tape, giving the couple, family, and friends long lasting memories that could be recalled instantly. Prospective brides and grooms who want to create happy memories by giving a polished and graceful performance on their big day increasingly opt to take dance lessons. These help prepare them for one of the most memorable performance of their lifetimes.
At Ballroom & Beyond we offer dance instruction and/or choreography for the whole wedding party:
- Your first dance as a married couple
- Parents of the happy couple
- Father and Bride or Mother and Son dances (or any other combination that you'd like!)
- Rehersal dinners
Some Tips to Help You
If you are planning to get married, here are a few tips from the experts on learning to dance in preparation for your wedding:
- Start planning four to six months prior to your wedding to allow time for practice, especially if you are a beginner.
- Dance lessons can actually be a stress reliever so try not to think of them as another chore to check off your list.
- Lessons pull you out of chaos of the day to spend time with your beloved, having fun and learning at the same time.
- As well as traditional dances, the hot Cha Cha, romantic Rumba, or upbeat Swing are all popular at weddings today.
- If you plan to dance to a special song at your reception, please bring a recording of it to your lesson.
